Purchase Credits (Increase account balance)

What does this extension do?

The Purchase Credits (Store Credit) extension allows your customers to increase their account balance by purchasing store credit through the standard checkout process.

This is especially useful if your store sells low-cost items or handles small transactions. Customers can buy credit in predefined amounts, reducing transaction fees and enabling faster repeat purchases. Once the credit purchase order is completed, the purchased amount is automatically added to the customer’s account balance.

A positive account balance allows customers to place orders quickly using store credit, bypassing the usual payment steps.

Note: To ensure proper functionality, the Buy Now feature must be disabled in your store settings.

By default, AbanteCart only allows administrators to manually add credits to customer accounts.
This extension enables customers to buy store credit in predefined blocks, streamlining the process and improving the customer experience.
After store credit is applied, the regular checkout process continues as normal.
