Hi,

Does this extension implement the 3D-Secure features of Stripe? I'm currently using the free Stripe standard extension, however Stripe have recommended I implement 3D Secure, obviously I cannot do that on the standard extension, so I'm looking for one that has this feature rather than have to write my own.

Just, FYI. 3D-Secure is not supported by all the countries and will add extra checkout step for shoppers.

I would suggest not using this extension, they do not allow guns or ammunition to be sold through their system. Ridiculous. I would give it 1 star if I could, obviously i'm not going to buy it just so I can rate.

Restriction and regulation of Stripe is totally different issue.

Hi I'd like to understand more about the PCI compliance.

i'm in the UK, is this elegible for PCI SAQ A?

i.e. Card-not-present merchants (e-commerce or mail/telephone-order) that have fully outsourced all cardholder data functions to PCI DSS compliant third-party service providers, with no electronic storage, processing, or transmission of any cardholder data on the merchant’s systems or premises. Not applicable to face-to-face channels.

Hello,

Actual Credit Card values are not stored. Stripe takes care of securing and storing these details.
In this extension, we store referencing token provided by stripe. This token authorizes stripe to charge the credit card.

Thanks for this Maxter, as i under stand it the cretit card details are entered onsite and on 'mywebsite' server, rather than on the stripe server, wouldn't this count as my website processing credit card information?

I work on new version (updated) that will be 100% PCI compliant with CC processed on Stripe server. Current version pass CC details via Curl call. It is secure, but not 100% PCI complient

Hello, What version of AbanteCart do you have? this extension works on any version 1.2+. Do you need help installing?
Developers do not have ability to refund. You need to contact marketplace.

What are the differences between your "Advanced Stripe" and AbanteCart's "Default Stripe" extensions?

Stripe extension that I offer has ability to save credit card for customers and as administrator, you can capture, refund payment in the admin in the order page. You do not need to go to stripe site to look for transaction.

Will your extension let me issue a partial refund? (Order total minus S/H, for example). Also, is the credit card information stored at stripe.com or in AbanteCart?

Yes, you are able to give partial refund. You will need to enter amount of refund in the admin/order section. For security reasons, no credit card information is stored in AbanteCart.

Hi again. I just purchased your extension. Installation was smooth. I tested the payment interface and everything worked well, except that the labels are not properly coded, which makes the order form not accessible to my blind customers. I added a "for" attribute to the labels and I'll be happy to share if you want to add them to the extension in the future.

Aside from that, I have a couple of questions: The Help file states that "Once orders with stripe are created, you can perform capture, void or refund in order section of AbanteCart admin." Are you referring to Sales > Orders on the dashboard? If so, I opened an existing order but I didn't find a Refund button. This order was created when I was using the default_stripe extension. Can you tell me why Refund is not showing?

For some reason, your extension stopped working. It will not submit the order when I hit "Confirm Order". I tried both Guest Checkout and Returning Customer. I checked to make sure the extension was connected to Stripe in Live mode, tried again, had the same problem. Then I uninstalled the extension, reinstalled a fresh version of it, reconnected live and still had the same issue. At this point, I turned off your extension and tried placing the same order in two different platforms (default_authorizenet_aim and default_strip); had no problem with either one. I appreciate a prompt resolution. Thank you.

To your earlier post about existing orders. Extension can not refund orders placed prior to extension installation or enabling. This is simply because there is no Stripe transaction ID stored for prior orders

About extension not working. Do you recall what haves changed that it stoped working? Anything in the log during that time? Can you PM me the access?

Thank you for clarifying about the refund issue. As far as the extension not working, I don't believe this has to do with the changes I made. I only added a "for" value to the labels to make the form accessible. These changes, I'm almost sure, should have no impact on the extension. They were all css changes (the same I'm now using with default_stripe and it's working just fine). Besides that, I uninstalled the edited version and reinstalled a fresh copy of your extension and the problem remains!

Sorry, my company does not allow third party access to our website. I know how to install an extension. I'm also an extension vender in the Marketplace. As I said earlier, your extension apparently worked well at the beginning, then started malfunctioning to the point where I could not submit a test order. The Submit button would not work at all. I deactivated/uninstalled your extension, tried default_stripe extension and the problem was gone. This leads me to believe that there is a problem with your extension.

I wonder if you had both default_stripe and stripe extensions enabled? That might be a problem. Also if place a test order with with test account, make sure you have test mode connected. It should say "Disconnect Stripe (test)".

If submit button does not work that can be related to the JavaScript. If you switch between stipe extensions, make sure you clean browser cache. If JS file is cached, if can cause issues.

Than you for the video. What is the text box that you have above the payment section? Was this page customized?
I think there is some JavaScript error as conflict/result of some other extension or customization.
Can you pease post URL to the page or check the console for errors?

The textbox just above the payment option is my Return Policy. I use the same in my current checkout with no problems. The issue is not caused by the javascript; otherwise, it would have the same problem with other extensions, which I don't.

Error log does not show any errors associated with Stripe; which makes sense since the Confirm button is not triggering a response. Please provide a fix ASAP. Thanks.

I was not referring to the abantecart log. I need to know what is in console of the browser to see JS error.
I do not think it is easy to help in the blind. Can you share a link to the site?

I have no idea about the js error in the browser console. You should be able to duplicate the problem on your end. I use AbanteCart version 2.9. I'll wait a couple more days for a resolution. If I don't get a solution by then, I'll go ahead and dispute the credit card charge. Your extension doesn't work as advertised. Thanks.

I can not replicate this issue on my end. I need to see this on your side, like I said before, it can be conflict of extensions. I am willing to help you, but you not letting me help you.

Please read market place policy. You need to give me opportunity to investigate the problem. Images and video do not help me. I do not need FTP yet, but at least I need to see the site and inspect HTML and JS. Give me URL.

Just the fact that you do not understand that solving problem without investigation is hard and sometimes not possible, puts your Assistech (I assume that is you, based on the logo) development account under some concern. Just observation that you make this harder to solve and not accusation.

Again, I don't understand the innuendo or the reason for concern. And I must point out, too, that you must be familiar with AbanteCart rules of use. Making false accusations in public is not acceptable. Yes, you indirectly suggested that I'm a free loader. Please discontinue this behavior. With that said, it's my firm belief I already gave you plenty of time (12 days, to be more precise) to fix the glitch and no solution has been presented.

If you so willing for refund, go ask this in MP. To me this is not right. See what they say, I will confirm that it is OK to give you money back.

Certainly, I can also read between the lines, but in this case I didn't. I'm sticking to the facts. As I said earlier, I waited for 12 days for a resolution that never came. Thank you. Can I get the network install key for the latest version 1.1. It only shows the Network key of old version in my order history. Could you please share the network key for latest version so that I can update my current version.

Should be the same key. If you install in admin with the key it will pick the latest matching version.

If this does not work, you need to check with abantecart.

You can always download extension in the marketplace and install with upload to Abantecart. It is still as easy as install with key.
